In Focus Workshop: Throwing Larger
1 Day Workshop

Throwing larger and one-day workshop for those students with some experience who can already centre minimum of 1k of clay and ready to scale up their throwing using new techniques.

Kim will work with your level of experience to increase the amount of clay, with specific attention to centring, pulling up all the clay from the base, and control to create larger forms, including cylinders, bowls and platters.

If you wish to keep any pieces and have them glaze fired this will be charged at £7.00 per kilo. If you have your own kiln, you can take unfired pieces home at £3.50 per kilo.

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT:

All of the tools, equipment, clay and pigment will be provided.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:

Bring a small hand towel and apron and any additional tools you wish to use.

Please ensure you can attend the workshop you have booked as we cannot offer refunds less than 14 days notice, unless we are able to fill your place with another student. Please get in touch and we will do our best.
