Make and decorate a vase with underglaze transfers

Perfect for beginners and all experience levels, this half-day workshop will guide you through the process of creating beautiful slab-built vases using white clay. Our teacher, Katia Giordanella will teach you step-by-step how to form your vase and apply underglaze transfers using only water and a sponge.

You’ll make 1–2 ceramic pieces and personalise them with your choice of underglaze transfer design. Options include: fish, marine life, cactus, flowers, or chickens. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore new ceramic techniques and create unique pieces for your home or as gifts.

All materials and two firings are included. Finished work will be ready for collection approximately 4 weeks after the session.

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT:

All of the tools, equipment, clay, glazes and firings are included in the price.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:

Bring a small hand towel and apron and any additional tools you wish to use.

Lunch is not provided but there are several cafes and restaurants in the area. The beach is located directly across from the studio and if the weather is suitable is a perfect spot to have lunch and a swim in the sea.

Please ensure you can attend the workshop you have booked as we cannot offer refunds less than 14 days notice, unless we are able to fill your place with another student. Please get in touch and we will do our best.
